Remembering Dixie Lynn Sterago Slebzak:

Lynn was born in Annapolis, Maryland on November 19, 1946 and was one of 11 children. Lynn graduated from Annapolis High School in 1964. She married James Slebzak the same year. They had one daughter, Denise. She was married to Jimmy, a member of the Avalon Rock band for 35 years until his death in 1991.

She started her career at the Anne Arundel Public Library as a clerk typist and worked her way up to Executive Secretary until an illness forced her into early retirement.

Lynn was known for her sense of humor, her generosity and her devotion to her family.

She created a lovely home for her family which included many beloved pets over the years.

She enjoyed participating in sports which included downhill skiing, ice-skating and roller skating.

She was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and was in the stadium the day Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig’s consecutive game record.
